(July 16, Suwon)- Samsung announced the development of its slot-in slim external TruDirect¢â (SE-T084M/RSWD). TruDirect¢â is DVD writers which revolutionary save time for recording DVD discs that can be played on any DVD player.

TruDirect¢â revolutionarily shortens DVD title creating time as no pre-mastering, multiplexing or hard-disk buffering is needed, enabling real-time fast and simple recording personal videos, photos or data files onto DVD discs. DVD title creation of a one hour video stream takes approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes. For creating DVD title from a one hour HDD camcorder file(4.1GB), it takes about 30 minutes,
Not only for DVD title creation but also for making a data DVD, TruDirect¢â features the fastest speed across formats as other SAMSUNG DVD writers. The main specifications are 8X DVD+R and DVD-R writing, 6X DVD+R and -R Dual Layer writing, and 5X DVD-RAM writing.
